VARIA LANDS is the new upcoming play to earn game in wax blockchain. The kingdom is set in magical world where islands are floating in the sky with treasures and mysteries. Inhabitants goal is to be king and rule the island one day.
To do that, they need to survive and enrich themselves via mining in-game resources. There’s scarcity of it, only the brave survives!
VARIA LANDS PLAY TO EARN GAMEPLAY
At phase 1 release, it will offer the basic activity foundation of the game:

MINING
It is the main activity in the game. The goal is to mine as much resources you can to enrich yourself. These resource are tradeable to crypto tokens.
BLEND
At start, all blending will be done via NEFTYBLOCKS. Soon it will be in-game. Players can blend few NFT assets to create 1 final asset of better quality.
UPGRADE
Assets can be upgraded to increase rarity or level.
CRAFT
Players can craft various game NFT with the use of buildings and resources in-game.
KING OF THE ISLAND
This is the main goal of all players in the game. Each island will have their own king base on king power. Each king can be replaced by other players with higher stats. As a king, they have special share of the island resources as rewards.
FEES and TAXES
There are 3 types of fees and taxes in the game:
Withdrawal Fee max 50%.
Island Owner’s tax at 5%
King of the Island Tax at 5%
VARIA LAND NFT’s
The game offers few NFT’s for in-game use. These are:
MINES
This NFT is used in mining resources. There are 3 types of it: lumber mill, farm and stone quarry. Lumber mill produces wood resources. Farm produces food resources. Stone quarry produces stone resources. Each mining operations consumes other 2 resources, which varies depending on mine variants from R1 to R1.
Each player can have up to 4 mining slot in their town, but they can only use 1 mine type in the game. Mining rate and speed depends on the rarity of the mine which varies from common, rare, epic, legendary and mythic. The higher the rarity, the faster the mining rate.
BUILDINGS
In Varia land, players can have or own several types of buildings for various game use.
PALACE It is the heart of every town, where GOLD is produced. The place also creates politicians. Each player can have 1 palace in their town. Operating it requires consumption of the other 3 game resources. They also come in various rarities from common to mythic, which dictates their gold production.
WORKSHOP It is the place that creates workers. They also come in various rarities from common to mythic. They are also responsible for ingame crafting and upgrading of characters, mines and buildings. This depends on the workshop rarities.
CLOCK TOWER It creates watchmakers. They also come in various rarities from common to mythic. They are also responsible for ingame crafting and upgrading of characters, mines and buildings. This depends on the workshop rarities.
BUILDER’S HUT It creates builders. They also come in various rarities from common to mythic. They are also responsible for ingame crafting and upgrading of characters, mines and buildings. This depends on the workshop rarities.
RUINED BUILDING It can only be obtained via upgrading. They don’t have much use in the game, aside from you can merge 5 ruined buildings to create a random building or mine with same rarity.
CHARACTERS
Running a town requires various characters and figures.
POLITICIANS It comes in 3 rarities: junior, senior and master. Politicians can decrease withdrawal fees and taxes base on their rarities. There are maximum slots for the politicians. Junior max is 3, where it unlocks additional slot for watchmakers. Senior max is 3, where it unlocks additional slots for workers. Master max is 5, where it unlocks additional slot for mines.
WORKERS They are responsible for increasing mining rate, depending on their rarity: junior, senior and master. Junior increases mining rate by 0.5%, Senior by 1.2% and Master by 3%. Workers can also be crafted in workshop.
WATCHMAKERS They can increase mining time to mine every X hours. This can be useful to have limited interaction in mining resources. They also come in 3 rarities: junior, senior and master. Without watchmaker, you can only mine 10 gold every hour. With a common watchmaker, you can mine 20 gold in 2 hours interval. Watchmakers can be crafted in clocktower.
BUILDERS They can decrease building production time in the game, depending on their rarity. A Junior can decrease building construction time by 8%, Senior at 12% and Master at 18%. They can be crafted in Builders Hut.
ISLANDS
Each island can have these 5 buildings: safe, treasury, bank, King’s safe and temple. They also varies in rarity from common, rare, epic, legendary and mythic.
Island Safe holds the withdrawal fees gathered from the island. Island owners can claim part of it as rewards.
Island Treasury holds the withdrawal fees in excess of island owners share. Bank and temple upgrade fees also goes in the treasury.
Island Bank increases the token a player can mine in the island by certain percentage depending on bank level from 1 to 5.
King of Island’s Safe holds all the tax resources gathered via King of Island’s tax. Only the current king can claim the prize.
Islands Temple is used to boost or increase the birth of the island citizen. Temple has 4 levels which reduces birth time from 25% to 95% faster rate.
WALLS, SOLDIERS and KEYS are future NFT’s of they. They don’t have details yet.
GAME TOKEN
There are 4 tokens in the game: VLW, VLF, VLS and VLG.
Varia Land Wood with token code VLW and max supply of 15 billion. Wood as ingame resources.
Varia Land Food with token code VLF and max supply of 15 billion. Grape as ingame resources.
Varia Land Stone with token code of VLS and max supply of 15 billion. Stone as ingame resources.
Varia Land Gold with token code of VLG and max supply of 15 billion. Gold as ingame resources.
These tokens can be obtained via ingame mining activity. All these mining activities requires other token as fuel. All these tokens will be tradeable via ALCOR EXCHANGE.
GAME LAUNCH
As per the game roadmap, they target to have the game launch by June 2022. They recently got whitelisted in Atomic Hub, which is a good start for any wax based games. Soon they will have NFT sales, token listing in Alcor Exchange, testing and more game marketing.
